Happiness is not a destination...

I love quotes. I use them on almost every scrapbook page I make.
I have quite a few stamps with good "life" quotes.
I thought this one was suitable for a graduation card:

I just love, love, love, the flowers from the Stampin Up! Jar of Love
stamp set. They give this card a nice feminine touch.

I added just a teeny bit of bling on one of the flowers.
I'm sure the recipient will love it! I also embossed the
"Happiness" quote with clear embossing powder. I haven't done that
for awhile...it gives the card a nice look, too.
Thanks for checking in and have a great day!

Lovely wreath card....

Hello! Happy Saturday! I enjoyed a little paper crafting time today and made this card....
I'm going to use it as an anniversary card.
The wreath was a freebie from misskatecuttables and is still available here.
(I'm not sure how long it will stay on the 'free stuff' page so
 download it now!) ; )
The flowers are from Stampin Up! Jar of Love set.
The library card is authentic...a real live library card! Our school
media specialist was getting rid of them at the end of the year,
so I snagged a bunch, knowing I could put them to good use!
The background paper is from Hobby Lobby; Ice Cream Parlor by The Paper Studio.
Thanks for checking in and have a great day!

Candy Corn Inspiration

I made this doily in subtle tones of yellow, orange, and off white...
so it would look like candy corn.
It will look so pretty as a fall decoration.
You can find the chart here.
Thanks for checking in and enjoy a little crocheting today!! ; )

Blankie Update!

I finished my little Viking inspired baby blankie.
It's about 36" x 54."
I did a little edging...ch2, sc around the outside.
It adds a nice finished touch.
If you need more inspiration, type 'granny ripple baby blanket' in the
Pinterest search bar and you'll find all kinds of
cute color combinations!
Thanks for checking in and have a great day...
hope you can crochet today!! = )

Vikings Themed Baby Blanket

School is keeping me super busy...these last few weeks are always hectic. Thankfully, we're finished in 3 and a half days! Yeah! Summer is just around the corner! I've been working on a little baby blanket for a co-worker who absolutely loves the MN Vikings. Here's a sneak peek:
I'm using I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby in grape. yellow, white, and gray. Gray isn't an official color of the Vikings, but I like the color added between the yellow and white. I am using the granny ripple pattern, which makes it very quick and easy.  Thanks for checking in and have a great day!

Paper gift bag

Hello! I have a paper craft project to share with you today! I made a gift bag using
this svg file from Lori Whitlock and my Cricut. I love the way it turned out, using the gingham
paper!

I added a little tag, with a hot air ballon. I embossed the tag with the Darcie "Clouds" Embossing
folder. You can find the hot air balloon svg at Miss Kate Cuttables, here.
Thanks so much for checking in and have a great day!
